Marvellous Utibe

I was born in Nigeria, Africa. Being surrounded by so many empowered women in my family and in my country; I was raised to be the exact same. I grew up helping my mom with her business. Overtime, it became my dream to have my own business one day.

After graduating secondary school, I pursued higher education at the University of the Virgin Islands. My major was in psychology. During my studies I worked with children in the local school system. As much as I enjoyed the job, it was not something that I loved. So, I decided to launch MABOQ, LLC. At first, I started selling from my car, years later I am thankful I was able to acquire a commercial space.  Launching my business gave me an extreme drive, I wake up every day thankful for this journey, and will continue working towards my future goals.

I want to encourage people to follow their dreams. Start from small, learn on the way and be open minded to trying new ideas for your business. Things do not always go as planned but once you are dedicated to whatever you set your mind to, you can make all your dreams come true.
